We are Bonnie Blink & Danny Baisey. QuietWood is our ten acres in Waller County, Texas. Bonnie has had dogs almost all her life. She started in obedience in 1969 with a Border Collie mix named "Pepper." She taught obedience for a number of years, training everything from Chihuahuas to Great Danes. As a couple we got our first Mastiff in 1997. Another soon followed and we started showing in AKC conformation events. We met our first Spinone Italiano in 2001 shortly after the breed was granted regluar status with AKC. We added our first Spinone shortly thereafter.

We have produced many champions in both breeds and are particularly proud of our Spinone Ch QuietWood Tiramisu who won Best of Breed at Westminster 2007. Her mother, Ch Mals-About Furstclass Gal was our first Spin. She is one of the top producing bitches in the breed, having produced thirteen champions.

We have been fortunate to have met and been mentored by experienced breeders and experts in both our breeds and are grateful for the puppies they entrusted to us and the many times they have answered our endless questions.

We believe in paying forward, so we endeavor to make ourselves available to others wanting to learn more about our breeds and about the sport of purebred dogs.
